Debbie Maxwell, MSW, LCSW

“Success, for me, is when my client is no longer in need of my service.”

Debbie incorporates creative techniques into her eclectic yet supportive approaches to therapy. She has special interest in working with children, adolescents and their families. Women’s issues, victims of abuse and marital therapy are also predominant in her practice.

She received her degrees from Purdue University and Indiana University in Psychology and Social Work. Her experience includes inpatient and outpatient therapy work with children and adolescents at Cummins Mental Health in Putnam County. In addition to working at Hendricks Therapy, Debbie has a private practice at Westside Christian Counseling Center (ministry of Westside Church of the Nazarene). She actively conducts seminars and retreats and volunteers with the local Girl Scouts. After 17 years in the mental health care field, Debbie continues to find joy in helping children, teens, and adults reach their potential in school, life, and relationships.
